Il Messaggero understands that Real Madrid are considering summer swoops for Serie A midfielders Lucas Biglia and Radja Nainggolan.
Los Blancos have already stayed without Sami Khedira, and with the likes of Asier Illarramendi and Lucas Silva failing to impress, new boss Rafael Benitez is on the lookout for midfield reinforcements.
According to Il Messaggero, the former Napoli coach has set his sights on Lucas Biglia and Radja Nainggolan.
The two players have been in fine form ever since they arrived in Italy and they are both being linked with big club moves.
But, while Lazio are the sole owners of Lucas Biglia, Radja Nainggolan is co-owned between Cagliari and AS Roma.
Even if either of them will be available on the cheap, Real Madrid are one of those clubs that do not mind paying top dollar for their targets.
Lucas Biglia is currently with Argentina at the 2015 Copa America, where La Albiceleste are 2/3 favourites to see off Uruguay in their second group game.
