Spanish daily El Confidencial is reporting that Real Madrid are considering a bid for Granada full-back Guilherme Siqueira.
With los Blancos set to stay without Fabio Coentrao this summer, the club officials are actively searching for a successor to the Portuguese defender.
El Confidencial has learned that Real Madrid have made Granada’s Guilherme Siqueira their number one target.
The Brazilian defender has largely impressed playing for los Rojiblancos last season and he is seen as a much cheaper alternative to some of the club’s other targets.
Siqueira has a €15 million release clause inserted in his contract, but it is believed he would be available for mere €8 million.
The 27-year-old has spent last four years at Granada, making a total of 138 league appearances for the club.
Operating as an attacking full-back, Siqueira has managed to score no less than 12 goals during the last two La Liga campaigns.
