Real Madrid are readying bid for Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila as Jose Mourinho looks to add more quality to the centre of the park.
Real officials have inquired about the 20-year-old holding midfielder and have been informed that he would cost around €15 million.
Jose Mourinho sees M’Vila as a player who can improve the quality of the team and is likely to make a move for the French international in January, although he could face a stiff competition from Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson, who is also keen on the midfielder.
M’Vila has been a real revelation of last year’s Ligue 1 campaign, his first ever in French top flight, with impressive performances for Rennes almost earning him a place in Raymond Domenech’s World Cup squad.
The player has since been capped four times by French coach Laurent Blanc and his strong performances this season are one of the reasons behind Rennes’ impressive start of the season.
Even though his contract with Rennes doesn’t expire before 2014, M’Vila has hinted he could leave the club if the right offer comes along.
