Real Madrid travel to the Volkswagen Arena to face Wolfsburg in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final bout tonight, and are big favourites to come out on top against the German Bundesliga outfit following a real upturn in form at the perfect time.
Zinedine Zidane’s men recently beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp in La Liga, and are buoyed ahead of this evening’s game as a result. They will have a strong squad to face the Germans, and have been in outstanding form in the competition this season.
Real Madrid have won seven and drawn one of their eight games in the Champions League, and come into tonight’s meeting with Wolfsburg off the back of six straight wins in all competitions. As for the Germans, the Wolves could be in trouble tonight.
