Champions League winners Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Zorya Luhansk over a summer transfer deal with teenage Ukraine international goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
The 19-year-old shot-stopper is one of the most highly rated custodians on the continent and Real Madrid wasted no time in snapping him this summer.
Talented goalkeeper established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for Zorya Luhansk over the past two seasons, during which time he managed to keep 20 clean sheets in 51 matches.
Real Madrid have been in the market for goalkeeping reinforcements for quite some time now with Keylor Navas’ future in doubt but Andriy Lunin is not expected to be an immediate threat to Costa Rica international.
The talented shot-stopper will join the team for preseason after which Julen Lopetegui will decide upon Lunin’s place in the team.
In the meantime, the Spanish superpower club is expected to make a move for AS Roma custodian Alisson Becker who is currently at the World Cup with Brazil.
