Competition: Spanish La Liga
Market: Real Madrid and Barcelona to draw
Odds: 13/5 @ Betfair

Fierce rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns in the Spanish La Liga tonight for the first El Clasico of the season. Real are slim favourites to come out on top at the Santiago Bernabeu, but this is a unpredictable fixture that could go both ways. Currently second and first respectively in the division, victory for Real or Barca will ensure of their top spot in the table this weekend, but the latter are in a stronger position.

The Catalans only need to avoid defeat to Real to keep their place at the summit, and manager Luis Enrique might settle for less at the Bernabeu as a result. While boasting the best attack in the world with Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar, Barcelona won’t underestimate their opponents in their own backyard, and will be wary that two of their last three meetings at the Bernabeu has seen Real win.

Barcelona have won three of their last four meetings with Los Blancos in the division, however, but Enrique might opt to kill the game and take a share of the spoils despite pressure from the supporters to go for the win. As a result, Betfair are giving odds of 13/5 for Real Madrid and Barcelona to play out a stalemate tonight.
