Real Madrid and Man City enter race for Emre Can

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that Real Madrid and Manchester City are hot on the trail of Liverpool hotshot Emre Can.

The Germany international long ago decided to leave the Reds on a free transfer in the summer and he was believed to have found an agreement with Juventus.

However, latest reports suggest that the Bianconeri are no longer in pole position, as Real Madrid and Manchester City are both set to make their moves.

The player himself clearly hopes the heavy competition for his signature will secure him a lucrative deal, and it only remains to be seen where he will end up.

Emre Can, 24, joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen some four years ago and he went on to make 115 Premier League, scoring 10 goals.
