Real Madrid and Man City reach agreement over Brahim Diaz transfer

Spanish media outlet Marca reports that Real Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement over a January move for a highly promising youngster Brahim Diaz.

The 19-year-old is now set to return to Spain after failing to break into the first team at Etihad. Diaz refused to extend his agreement with the Citizens and is one step away from achieving his long-term dream of signing with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid will pay €15 million plus add-ons to secure the signature of Diaz, who will sign a six-year contract with the European champions.

Diaz only made four appearances for Manchester City this season.

The talented youngster failed to break through the strong competition in the midfield where Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sane, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling all sit in front of him in the pecking order.
