Real Madrid back in for Aguero

Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, according to the Mirror.

The La Liga giants, who are on the verge of appointing Rafael Benitiez as their new manager, have regularly been linked with a move for the Argentina international who won the Premier League’s golden boot last season.

In thirty-three league outings, the striker scored twenty-six goals, five more than nearest rivals Harry Kane, while he bagged a further six in other competitions.

Since arriving at Eastlands in 2011, Aguero has helped City win two Premier League titles, while he was also part of the squad that won the League Cup in 2014.

Internationally, he has twenty-three goals in sixty appearances for his country and played at both the 2010 World Cup in South Africa as well as last summer’s tournament in Brazil, where he received a runners-up medal after his side lost to Germany in the final.
