Real Madrid begin Neymar negotiations

Brazilian media outlet Globoesporte is reporting that European champions Real Madrid have opened talks with Neymar over a possible transfer.

With Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Juventus, Los Blancos are widely expected to make a marquee signing this summer and a couple of names have already been thrown in the mix.

Kylian Mbappe, Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard all seem to be behind Neymar in the pecking order, however, as Real Madrid send their emissary Juni Calafat to have a talk with Neymar’s father in an attempt to lure the Brazilian over to Santiago Bernabeu.

Neymar is under a contract with PSG which runs until 2022 but he does not have a release clause in his deal with the French giants.

The Brazilian wonderboy moved to Ligue 1 in a world record deal worth €222 million and it is highly unlikely that PSG would let Neymar leave for anything less this time around.
