Daily Express is reporting that Real Madrid are weighing up a January bid for Tottenham Hotspur star Hugo Lloris.
Los Blancos signed Keylor Navas from Levante in the summer, while allowing Diego Lopez to leave, but they now plan to recruit the Frenchman as a perfect long-term replacement for Iker Casillas.
Even though he has reclaimed his number one spot, the Spain international has struggled for form this season and it appears he is nearing the Santiago Bernabeu exit.
Real Madrid plan to offer around £20 million for Lloris in January, while they are also prepared to wait until the end of the campaign if Spurs do not want to do any business midway through the season.
The France number one has proved his worth in English Premier League, making 73 league appearances since arriving from Lyon, but he is reportedly disappointed by club’s failure to challenge for major honours.
