Real Madrid gained significant advantage over Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash, played at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Kai Havertz managed to get a goal for the Blues, but Karim Benzema made sure Los Blancos went back to Madrid happy with a hat-trick.
Speaking to the press after the match, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for the 34-year-old striker.
