According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are said to have reached a verbal agreement with Christian Eriksen over his move from Tottenham Hotspur to the Bernabeu. The rumours linking him with a switch to the Spanish giants have been ongoing for a long time now, with many believing that it’s just a matter of time before the deal is confirmed. However, Real actually haven’t submitted a legitimate offer to Spurs up to this point, with the belief being that he will cost them in excess of £100 million. Zinedine Zidane hasn’t been shy about the fact that he wants to change things up during the summer transfer window, following a pretty poor season by Real’s standards.
The Dane is widely considered to be one of the most intriguing attacking midfielders in all of football, which is why Spurs will try and get as much money as they possibly can before they agree to let him go.
