Having witnessed their La Liga title defence hopes get shattered in a 3-0 El Clasico defeat, Real Madrid shift their focus to the forthcoming transfer window.
Los Blancos are hoping to reinforce their squad and the Spanish media outlet Marca have already earmarked their first possible signing.
The 20-year-old Valencia forward Rafa Mir has been spotted in Madrid this week where he came to close his transfer to Real Madrid. The talented youngster is set to become the first reinforcement of the January window and will join Castilla once the training resumes on 2 January.
Mir is not expected to be immediately added to the first-team at Santiago Bernabeu and will have to fight his way through the reserve team for a pop at the side led by Zinedine Zidane.
Real Madrid return to action on 4 January with a Copa del Rey Round of 16 first leg at Numancia.
