Real Madrid are increasingly confident about being able to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to Marca.
Apparently, the Brazilian is continuing to take steps which he believes will help him to leave PSG, and the Ligue 1 champions have given him and his entourage the green light to discuss personal terms with Real. However, there is still the matter of the two clubs needing to find common ground when it comes to a potential transfer fee.
Another obstacle that Los Blancos still need to overcome are finances. Having already spent over €300 million in this transfer window, they now need to start selling big to be able to complete the signing of the former Barcelona man, and the three names that top the list in their departure plans are Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz. PSG are adamant that they won’t be accepting any kind of a swap deal, so Real need to find other potential suitors for the unwanted trio.
Bale is apparently on the radar of Bayern Munich again, Monaco are in Mariano, while James may become the subject of a battle between Napoli and Atletico Madrid.
