Real Madrid could go after Lukaku

According to a recent report from Le10 Sport, Real Madrid could be interested in a move for Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku.

The belief is that the Belgian could serve as a replacement for Karim Benzema with the Frenchman’s future being a constant source of debate.

Inter are currently preparing for tomorrow night’s UEFA Europa League final against Sevilla, but in the wake of that game, you’d have to think there will be a few top teams making a push for him.

The former Manchester United striker has enjoyed something of a resurgence during his stint at the San Siro, and it will make some wonder whether or not Inter would be at all interested in selling him. Given the quick turnaround heading into the new season, it doesn’t feel like they’d make such a huge decision this quickly – but then again, stranger things have happened in this sport over the years.
