According to AS, Real Madrid could end up launching a major bid for Kylian Mbappe next week if Paris Saint-Germain are found guilty of breaking UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules and regulations. The French champions are currently preparing to secure Mbappe on a permanent deal from AS Monaco for €180 million, but if that move winds up impacting UEFA’s investigation, then it could easily open the door for Real to swoop in and secure Mbappe.
The 19-year-old is considered to be one of the best teenage prodigies we’ve seen in the last few decades, with his fantastic performances at the 2018 FIFA World Cup helping France to win the tournament earlier this summer. Since then he’s been viewed as a hot commodity as you’d expect, with Real being a club who have been voicing their interest in signing the youngster for years now dating all the way back to his days with Monaco.
