(GSM) – Real Madrid transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti has revealed that the club will not sign Douglas Maicon or Steven Gerrard this summer. Both players have been heavily linked with a big money move to the Bernabeu.

The club’s transfer consultant Bronzetti claims Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will not pay Liverpool’s £60million asking price for England’s World Cup skipper.

Speaking to GR Parlamento, Bronzetti said: “Kaka will stay at Real, but the president does not agree with Gerrard because he is 30 and Perez doesn’t want to know. Plus Liverpool asked for €70m.”

Bronzetti also denied rumours that Real madrid are interested in signing Internazionale right-back Maicon as cover for Sergio Ramos.

“Mourinho is convinced to leave Sergio Ramos on the right and now he wants a central defender or midfielder,” he added.

“Real did not make an offer for Maicon, there was a request of €35 million [from Inter].”
