Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Wolverhampton Wanderers-owned Huesca striker Rafa Mir, according to Defensa Central. It has been reported that Mir, on loan at Huesca from Premier League club Wolves, are seen by Spanish and European giants Madrid as a cheaper alternative to Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.
Madrid will take on Huesca on Saturday afternoon, and the defending Spanish champions will reportedly see Mir close in action. The former Spain Under-21 international striker has made 15 starts and six substitute appearances in La Liga so far this season, scoring six goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Mir has been on the books of Wolves since 2018, but the 23-year-old has made only a handful of appearances for the first team. The Spaniard has been out on loan at Las Palmas, Nottingham Forest and Huesca since then.
