Real Madrid are interested in signing William Saliba and Cristian Romero from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, according to Fichajes. The report has noted that Madrid president Florentino Perez personally wants both Saliba and Romero.
Fichajes has noted that Madrid plan to reinforce the defensive line for the 2025-2026 season and are keen on bringing Saliba and Romero to the Santiago Bernabeu. Saliba and Romero are two of the best centre-backs in the the Premier League.
Saliba, 23, is one of the first names on the France teamsheet. He has played seven times in the Premier League and has played twice in the UEFA Champions League for Arsenal so far this season. Meanwhile, Romero has scored one goal in seven Premier League games and has played once in the UEFA Europa League for Tottenham so far this campaign. Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, while Tottenham are looking to end up in the top four.
