Real Madrid eyeing Hazard move

Real Madrid are lining up a summer move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, according to the Metro.

The Spanish giants are on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, 30, who has himself been linked with a transfer at the end of the season, with Paris Saint Germain set to test Real’s resolve with a big money bid.

Since arriving in England, Hazard has played one hundred and seventy-three times in all competitions, scoring fifty goals while he was part of the squad that won the Premier League and League Cup last season, when he was also named PFA Player of the Year.

The Belgium international made only a cameo appearance as the Blues returned to winning ways at the weekend by beating lowly Aston Villa 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, though he is set to return to the starting line-up as Chelsea travel to Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
