Spanish daily newspaper Marca is reporting that Real Madrid are showing interest in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Los Blancos seem ready to splash out on a new striker and with Inter Milan not willing to negotiate the sale of Mauro Icardi, they have turned their attention to the Germany starlet.
Werner has been in excellent form ever since he joined RB Leipzig from Stuttgart, bagging 28 goals in 42 Bundesliga outings.
He also impressed playing for Germany, scoring 3 goals at the 2017 Confederations Cup and as many in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Therefore, it is hardly surprising that top European clubs are casting admiring glances his way, with Real Madrid apparently leading the chase.
