Spanish media outlet La Sexta has suggested that Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
It is no secret that los Blancos are in the market for a new centre forward and the Germany international has emerged as their top target.
Real Madrid scouts watched the youngster in the World Cup qualifier between Germany and Norway, where Werner bagged two goals.
Los Blancos are convinced that the 21-year-old can successfully replace Alvaro Morata at the Bernabeu and they will attempt to secure his services next summer.
After bagging 21 Bundesliga goals last season, Werner already has three strikes to his name this term, while he scored as many for Germany in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers vs Czech Republic and Norway.
