According to a recent report from Marca, Spanish giants Real Madrid have begun formulating a plan to sign Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek respectively. The belief is that a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is now looking increasingly unlikely, as the French midfielder’s future continues to be a source of great conversation and debate.
The other main interested club that wanted to go after him was Juventus, which means that this could be a sign that the Italian champions are back in the race.
In terms of Eriksen and van de Beek, though, Real could certainly do a lot worse. VDB is still growing and developing, but when it comes to Tottenham star Eriksen, you know what you’re going to get – and what you’re going to get is an incredibly well-polished attacking midfielder that still has a lot of potential.
Either way, it’s a promising sign for Madrid.
