Real Madrid go after Haaland

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are eyeing up a move to try and sign Erling Haaland.

The young Norwegian forward, as we all know, has been absolutely tearing it up in the Premier League this season. He is leading the scoring charts by a million miles and at the age of just 22, he has many big years ahead of him on the world stage.

Of course, City’s immediate future is currently uncertain, following the news that they have been charged with several financial breaches by the Premier League.

Madrid, on the other hand, are the reigning champions of both Spain and Europe. They know what it’s like to possess a natural goalscorer and Haaland has always been someone they’ve kept a close eye on.

Any move of this nature will take some serious time to prepare, which is why we probably won’t hear anything too concrete until we get closer to the summer.
