Real Madrid go after James

According to a recent report from Football Insider, Real Madrid are willing to pay handsomely in order to sign Reece James.

For the longest time now, Reece James has been one of the most sought-after full-backs on the planet. The 23-year-old has made quite the name for himself with Chelsea and while the club may be having a poor season, he’s still highly regarded as one of the best English footballers in the game right now.

The report indicates that Real would be willing to pay at least £90 million in the name of bringing him over to La Liga. However, the Blues appear to be feeling confident in their ability to keep the youngster.

The reason is because he signed a new deal back in September that is set to keep him in the capital until at least 2028. Of course, circumstances could always change, but it’s hard to picture him leaving right now.
