According to AS, Real Madrid have up to £330 million to spend on new players. The staggering figures were calculated through a treasurer’s report, and it’s believed that this money has been put aside to ensure that the European champions have plenty of money to fork out for new superstars to bring to the club. The Spaniards are expected to make some big moves either in January or next year’s summer transfer window, with two names being mentioned more so than any others.
Those names, of course, are Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Given that both play for Paris Saint-Germain it seems unlikely that both will end up making the move to Real, but even if it’s just one of them, they’ll be in a phenomenal position both domestically and in European competition. While we don’t necessarily condone just throwing money at players in order to get them to come to your club, Madrid have built something that goes beyond what any of us thought was possible.
