Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is once again being linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Spanish reports claiming that Los Blancos are prepared to step up their interest in Belgium international.
Eden Hazard has hit the rich vein of form in the opening stages of the 2018/19 season and is arguably the most in-form player in the Premier League at the moment.
The Belgian benefits greatly from Maurizio Sarri’s unique playing style which allows him freedom of movement and elicits his creativity and technical brilliance.
Chelsea hierarchy is planning to offer Hazard a new contract and tie his to Stamford Bridge beyond 2020, which is the year his current deal with the Blues expires.
The Spanish media outlet Cadena Ser however reports that Real Madrid are planning to hijack any potential deal between Hazard and Chelsea and allow the Belgian superstar to realize his long-lasting dream of playing in Spain.
Real Madrid are going through a difficult patch and are preparing for what’s likely to be a proactive January transfer window. Eden Hazard has, in the meantime, refused to commit to a new deal with Chelsea which sparked the rumours about his potential winter departure.
In addition to Eden Hazard, Real Madrid are also looking at Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
