Brazilian left-back Marcelo could be on his way out of Real Madrid in January. He has reportedly informed club president Florentino Perez of his desire to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus and could hit the exit door at Santiago Bernabeu as early as the winter transfer market.
La Liga heavyweights are said to have already identified a perfect replacement for the wantaway star. According to the reports coming from Portuguese media outlet Record, Real Madrid have set their sights on Porto left-back Alex Telles.
The 25-year-old Portuguese has already established himself as one of the most distinguished left-backs in Europe and Real Madrid believe his technical ability, speed and stamina make him an ideal replacement for the Brazilian.
Real Madrid are certain their positive relationship with Porto will facilitate the potential deal even though the Portuguese heavyweights would ideally like to hold on to their star until the end of the season.
