Real Madrid in ambitious bid for Leonardo Bonucci

OK Diario has suggested that Real Madrid are weighing up January bid for AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci.

The Italy hotshot was surprisingly allowed to leave Juventus in the summer, but he has largely struggled for form since arriving at Stadio San Siro.

Real Madrid have long been hot on his trail and they now plan to take advantage of AC Milan’s financial problems and attempt to lure Bonucci to Santiago Bernabeu.

The Rossoneri could face Financial Fair Play penalty following the heavy summer spending and they might consider cashing in on their marquee signing.

However, it is believed they will request at least the €40 million they paid for his services just few months ago.
