Real Madrid interested in Mount

According to a recent report from Fichajes, Real Madrid lead the race to try and sign Chelsea star Mason Mount.

The belief is that Mount, once viewed as the first name on the teamsheet for the Blues, feels underappreciated at the club. The Englishman has been one of their stand-out stars in recent years but it appears as if that’s changed under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea are still very much a force to be reckoned with but Mount isn’t at the forefront of the operation as much as he once was. Moving forward, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Tuchel opts to make him a more central figure.

Real Madrid already seem to have big plans ahead for what they’re going to do in the transfer window and while Kylian Mbappe is at the forefront of that, they may well add Mount into the mix too.
