Real Madrid have been ‘invited’ to help Paris Saint-Germain to resolve the differences between Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Tuchel, according to Marca.
The 21-year-old forward, likely to lead the way as one of the next world superstars as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo slowly move into the final years of their blissful careers, is extremely unhappy about the way Tuchel has been managing his game-time. He reacted angrily to being substituted after 68 minutes of PSG’s thumping of Montpellier a few days ago, and it wasn’t the first time something like that had happened; it’s not likely to be the last either, if the coach persists with putting his foot down.
Shortly after the incident, a meeting between Tuchel and Mbappe was held in the presence of sporting director Leonardo, but Mbappe reportedly remains in a bad mood towards Tuchel and he refused to apologize for his behavior. Real’s interest in the France international has hardly been a secret as they’re being tipped to make a move for him practically every transfer window.
But given the excellent relationship between the presidents of the two clubs, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Florentino Perez, Real will only make a move if they are encouraged to do so by PSG.
