Real Madrid join Aouar race

According to a recent report from Daily Record, Real Madrid have entered themselves into the race to sign Houssem Aouar.

The Lyon midfielder is starting to look like one of the hottest commodities in all of Europe right now, but for the longest time, Arsenal were the ones leading the way in the push to get him signed.

Paris Saint-Germain have also entered the discussion in recent days and with Real now in the mix, Gunners fans will start to worry – and understandably so.

They need to bring in at least one more new face before the transfer window shuts and while they do have an impressive squad, their loss to Liverpool on Monday Night Football sent a pretty clear message.

Aouar isn’t going to be the answer to the problem for any of these clubs but his calming presence in the middle of the park will be important for just about anyone.
