Reigning champions of Europe are the last high-profile club to join the race for in-demand AS Roma custodian Alisson Becker.
The 25-year-old has this season emerged as one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the world with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United both said to be keen on his services.
The Brazil international’s standout season in Italy has also alarmed Real Madrid according to reports from Radio Montecarlo (RMC).
Los Blancos have been looking for an upgrade in goal for quite some time now and could go for Alisson as a direct replacement for Keylor Navas. Real Madrid had been linked with Man United player of the year David De Gea and Chelsea shot stopper Thibaut Courtois but have apparently now shifted their focus on the AS Roma star.
Giallorossi are keen to tie Alisson down on a long-term deal but will surely face great pressure this summer to sell their prized asset.
It is believed that AS Roma will demand at least €100 million which they believe should be enough to put most of the suitors off.
