Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Real Madrid are weighing up move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 17-year-old has become one of Europe’s most sought-after shot-stoppers following an outstanding start to his professional career and the Rossoneri now face a difficult task of warding off heavy interest in his services.
While Juventus reportedly see Donnarumma as a perfect long-term successor to Gianluigi Buffon, other top clubs are also keen, and it appears that mighty Real Madrid have joined the race as well.
Los Blancos currently have very good goalkeeping options in Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla, but there is no bright new talent coming through the ranks and they will instead attempt to bring the AC Milan hotshot to Santiago Bernabeu.
It is important to note though that Real Madrid are banned from signing new players until January 2018, but the club chiefs hope the transfer ban will be lifted.
