Catalan giants Barcelona and French heavyweights PSG face tough competition in race for the signature of Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo has spread the word on Friday that reigning European and Spanish champions Real Madrid have joined the race for Liverpool star who continued to be linked with Anfield exit.
Los Blancos are currently going through a tough time with their domestic and continental title defence hitting a road block over the past couple weeks and Florentino Perez is said to be making plans for the January market.
Reports have it that Real Madrid chief has already taken certain measures towards the Liverpool main-man.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are said to have opened talks over a possible January move which is sure to put a fresh twist on the Philippe Coutinho saga which has been dragging on since last summer.
