Real Madrid, Juande Ramos: We’re extremely motivated

Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos is confident that the enthusiasm of his players will conquer any drawbacks they may have. La Casablanca have to overcome a 1-0 deficit in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Liverpool.

“Everyone is extremely motivated and we will treat this game as if it were a final,” he said during an interview with Cadena SER programme ‘El Larguero’. “The players are anxious to make up for the first leg defeat at the Bernabeu and we will try with all our might to get a result to qualify for the quarter finals and make our fans happy.

“The possibilities and the options are there. Our desire is there and we can make anything happen. Besides, in these types of games, the psychological element far outweighs the physical factor.”
