Champions League holders Real Madrid are weighing up summer bid for Napoli starlet Piotr Zielinski, according to AS.
The 22-year-old made a lucrative move from Udinese to Stadio San Paolo last summer, and he quickly managed to prove his worth to the Azzurri.
Zielinski has so far managed 2 goals and 6 assists in 22 Serie A outings despite starting just ten of those games and it is clear that his excellent performances did not go unnoticed.
Chances are that Napoli will get a chance to quickly make a nice profit on the Polish midfielder as Real Madrid are reportedly readying a summer swoop for the talented footballer.
Los Blancos could face stiff competition from Chelsea and Liverpool, but whoever wants Zielinski next summer will have to delve deep into their pockets considering that he has a €70 million release clause in his current contract.
Real Madrid are no longer the number one favourites for the Champions League trophy, and can now be backed at 9/2 to go all the way.
