Spanish media outlet Don Balon is reporting that Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Stuttgart starlet Santiago Ascacibar.
The 20-year-old only joined the Bundesliga side last summer from Estudiantes, but he in turn enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Germany.
Ascacibar earned rave reviews for his performances in 14 league matches and latest reports suggest he is now on the radar of mighty Real Madrid.
Atletico Madrid are also believed to be hot on the trail of the young holding midfielder, who could soon be joining a top European club.
With Ascacibar tied to Stuttgart until June 2022, chances are the Swabians will turn a nice profit when they eventually decide to sell the Argentine footballer.
