European champions Real Madrid are said to be exploring the possibility of a player exchange deal with Juventus this January.
Namely, Los Blancos want to take advantage of Bianconeri’s interest in out-of-favour midfielder Isco and are willing to suggest a swap deal that would involve Paulo Dybala, the Italian media report.
The 26-year-old Spanish international is enduring a difficult season at Santiago Bernabeu. He was once again benched for the entirety of Real Madrid’s 2-1 La Liga triumph over Real Betis this weekend and is said to be extremely unhappy with his situation at the club.
Juventus are believed to be interested in presenting Isco with an escape route but Real Madrid are not willing to give up on their player that easily. Tuttosport claims that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez himself suggested the idea of a player exchange for Paulo Dybala and will test Juventus’ resolve this January.
Dybala is said to be very happy at Juventus and a departure is not an option at the moment but Real Madrid are said to be eager to put such a stance to the test.
