Real Madrid keep tabs on Ivan Fossum

Champions League holders Real Madrid are closely monitoring the performances of Stromsgodset midfielder Ivan Fossum, according to FourFourTwo magazine.

Los Blancos have recently won the race for Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard and they seem to plan to add his former teammate to their ranks as well.

While watching the 16-year-old in action, Real Madrid officials were also impressed by Ivan Fossum, an 18-year-old footballer who was in stunning form last season.

The youngster is not the same type of player as Odegaard, but he has been showing incredible maturity and consistency for his fragile age.

Fossum made a total of 26 league appearances last term, scoring 3 goals in the process, and he was widely regarded as one of club’s star performers in the league.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will be stepping up their interest in the talented footballer, but the Norway Under-21 international clearly has a great future ahead of him.
