Real Madrid keeping tabs on Porto’s Danilo

Real Madrid have expressed their interest in signing Porto full-back Danilo, Marca has revealed.

Los Blancos are actively searching for a new right-back and Jose Mourinho has made Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic his number one target.

However, with the Blues not willing to negotiate the sale of their key player, the Portuguese was forced to search elsewhere.

According to Marca, Mourinho has turn his attention to Porto defender Danilo, who is regarded as one of the most talented defenders in world football.

The 20-year-old joined Porto in a €13 million deal from Santos in January, but he has featured in just six league games for the Dragons this season.

The youngster could be tempted to join Real Madrid, although he won’t come on the cheap, that’s for sure.

Danilo is currently with the Brazil national team on a North American tour, and he is set to take part at the 2012 Olympics.
