La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Spanish giants Real Madrid have emerged as favourites to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
The 23-year-old has quickly become one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers and he is now heavily linked with a summer exit.
Torino reportedly rejected big money offers for his services in January, and they are now bracing for new proposals.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid have made Belotti their primary target for the summer transfer window and they are set to meet with Granata chairman Urbano Cairo to discuss the transfer fee.
Torino have reportedly referred los Blancos to the player’s €100 million release clause, as they are all too aware that Real Madrid have the habit of paying over the top for their main targets.
Belotti has largely impressed in his second season in Turin, bagging 15 goals in 20 Serie A matches this season.
