Real Madrid are weighing up a move for Granada full-back Guilherme Siqueira, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Los Blancos attempted to sign the Brazilian in the summer when it looked as though Fabio Coentrao would be leaving, but eventually puled out of the deal when the Portuguese’s switch to Old Trafford fell through.
Siqueira went on to join Benfica on a season-long loan, but with Coentrao widely tipped to quit Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid look set to reignite their interest in the 27-year-old.
Los Blancos should have no problems reaching an agreement with Granada, having all but agreed a move in the summer, but the problem is the defender is tied to the Eagles until the end of the season.
Guilherme Siqueira has so far made just 6 league appearances for Benfica, which is enough to suggest the Primeira Liga side might be interested to hear what Real have to say.
The Santiago Bernabeu outfit closed the gap behind their title rivals to three points at the weekend and are now 13/5 to lift the La Liga title.
