To me i think real madrid should increase their scoop of choice ie. looking at players like victor wanyama of celtic and foward like banze of burkina faso but now in france i think this two hard working players can really do somethe for them

I think they need yaya toure. He can cause order in defence and create opprtunities for attackers. Furtheremore he is so clever. it ‘s not important that this transfer can cost high but they need him badly!!!!

Real Madrid should get Gundogan and while we’re at it they should get Hummels in the back line.

Javi martinez cost bayern 40 mil and he has been played in a number of positions. at bilbao el loco used him as a centre back using the managers progressive philosophy that at least one centre back should be a playmaker

Bayern have used him mainly as their def mid/playmaker as some top teams with possession based approach can afford a skilled tactician in that position. Well it seems to have worked as in the CL final, he managed to disrupt barcas play with harrying them off the ball amazingly and then when he got it, used it brilliantly to create more attacking. Great player!!! In Confed cup he even played in number 10 role for spain when they were desperate against italy!!!

I know there is some wishful thinking from some fans about who they can aquire etc. javi martinez wont be goin anywhere and i’d be surprised if madrid let alonso go. he is very influential indeed

The deep lying playmaker is lost in modern football. Pirlo is the obvious example and perhaps lucas of liverpool. both started their careers as inventive playmakers higher up the pitch. Alonso is a wonderful player too who could easily play other positions but he has been easily one of madrids best performers of recent years and was also well recognised as a elite player in his lfc days. He was the best player in his position for a number of years in my opinion and would be sadly missed by real if they ditch him
