Real Madrid are readying summer bid for Shakhtar Donetsk star Willian, Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo reveals.
Los Blancos are ready to sell Kaka in the summer, but they want to have a replacement ready when the Brazilian leaves the club.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish giants see Shakhtar’s Willian as the man for the job and the fact that the player has the same representative as Kaka should help him arrive to Santiago Bernabeu.
The 23-year-old, who started his career at Corinthians, has made a name for himself at Shakhtar Donetsk and is now followed by a number of high-profile clubs.
The Brazilian midfielder was heavily linked with a January move to Chelsea, but he eventually remained in Ukraine.
Willian has a contract until June 2014 with the Ukrainian giants and El Mundo Deportivo believes Shakhtar would settle for a fee of around €30 million.
Nevertheless, Real Madrid are expected to face a stiff competition for the player’s signature, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also showing interest.
