Real Madrid are interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Madrid, who won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season, are on the hunt for a new defender and have identified Dumfries as a potential target.
Dumfries, who can play as a right-back or as a right wing-back, has been on the books of Inter since 2021 when he joined from PSV. The 28-year-old Netherlands international has established himself as one of the best players in his position in Serie A and is a key figure for Inter.
The defender has scored two goals in five starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season. Dumfries has also made four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for the Italian giants in this campaign. Inter are three points behind leaders Napoli in third place in the Serie A table, while Madrid, who want to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, are four points behind leaders Barcelona in second place in the La Liga standings with a game in hand.
