Real Madrid linked with Jeremie Frimpong

Real Madrid are interested in signing Jeremie Frimpong in the summer of 2025, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Madrid are looking for a right-back for next season and want to sign Liverpool and England international star Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer. If Los Blancos fail to get a deal done for Alexander-Arnold, then they will try to sign Frimpong.

Frimpong has been on the books of Bayer since 2021. The former Celtic right-back has established himself as one of the better players in his position in the Bundesliga and helped his German club win the league title last season.

The Netherlands international right-back has scored one goal in two Bundesliga matches so far this season. Frimpong, a former Manchester City prospect, scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 27 starts and four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and scored three goals in six starts and four assists in the UEFA Europa League last season.
