AS Monaco star Kylian Mbappe has had Europe’s biggest clubs on alert after a scintillating season with the French champions.
The likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are engaged in a three-way race for the talented forward who is valued at approximately €150 million, as his club refuse to budge with their whopping asking price.
And with PSG having reportedly held direct talks with the 18-year-old, Spanish and European champions Real Madrid have stepped up their efforts to return into the running for a player who is said to be preferring a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
The Evening Standard reports today that Los Blancos have made a plan which would see Zinedine Zidane give up on Mateo Kovacic in order to make room for the talented French forward. The Croatia midfielder has reportedly been offered to Tottenham as Los Blancos look to add valuable funds to their war chest.
With James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata both looking towards the exit door, Real Madrid are hopeful that these three sales would be enough to cover a great chunk of Mbappe’s world-record deal.
