According to a recent report from Marca, Spanish giants Real Madrid are planning on making substantial changes to their midfield during the January transfer window. Zinedine Zidane has seen his Real side make a questionable start to the season in Europe, and while they’re doing well in La Liga, there’s still a long way to go before they can be viewed as real leaders in the title race.

When it comes to their official plans, the belief is that they have a shortlist when it comes to who they want to bring in above all others. That shortlist features Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek and Eduardo Camavinga, and while there are a few other names that they’ll be considering, those three stand head and shoulders about the rest.

The big question is whether or not the board is willing to fork out even more money after spending big during the summer window.
